Where Do You Want To Go?

Where are the players that I know?

At the end of the 2001 season Bud Selig was kidnapped by aliens, as were all of the owners of Major League Baseball.  In the subsequent months a lot of lawyers decided that all of the contracts holding players to their respective teams were null and void.

Don't despair!  It made for a better league.

After watching a lot of Star Trek in the off-season the players union and its members decided that the concept of doing the job for the love of it was better than multi-million dollar contracts.  Therefore it was agreed that they should play for the love of the game and the spirit of competition.

That is when some enterprising people formed the Beginner's Luck Baseball League.  All of the players in Major League Baseball were placed into a veteran draft pool.  Then each of the 30 franchises drafted.  This spread all of the talent moderately well.

Next the BLBL disallowed a financial system.  There are no contracts, salary caps, financial markets or worries about ticket prices and attendance.

So look at the directory and pick a team that is available.  Join now and build a dynasty.
